Already before September 11, there was a debate in the Muslim world regarding the legitimacy of some types of actions. Suicide attacks or “martyrdom operations”? Religiously-sanctioned resistance or terrorism? This debate continues. The following document was written in order to justify a “martyrdom operation” in Chechnya.
