The ecumenical body set up to enable the Churches to think, work and pray together, has announced that it is to radically reform in the context of ‘post-Christendom’. Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI) says that is having to face the fact that its member Churches have shrinking resources to fund the work they wish to do together and have changing priorities as ecumenism is mainstreamed into church life.
