Hundreds of tribal Jews in Mizoram in India’s northeast are giving finishing touches to a ritual bath under the supervision of Israeli rabbis that could serve as their passport to that country. A team of rabbis, including Israeli architect-rabbi Doron Malka, is overseeing the construction of the ‘mikvah’, or Jewish ritual bath, in the state capital.
